STEER is an iOS application to record vehicle costs, maintenances and display corresponding statistics. This document includes the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy to disclose how and when the application collects and uses your information. For a better experience, while using our Service, We may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to email, full name. The information that I request will be retained on your device and is not collected by me in any way. The app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you. We want to inform you that whenever you use my Service, in a case of an error in the app We collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing my Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory. This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case We discover that a child under 13 has provided me with personal information, We immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact me so that We will be able to do necessary actions.
To record vehicle costs and view statistics in the app, a paid subscription (in-app purchase) is not required. You can purchase the subscription for the subscription period offered and get access to all PRO features and get rid of all limits for cars, maintenances, and a number of fill-ups per month. Subscriptions are automatically renewed at the end of this period. Payments for in-app purchases are processed exclusively by Apple via your Apple-ID account and the means of payment stored within. The app never actively collects information such as your name, address, email or credit card number associated with the purchase. Information you provide when completing in-app purchases may be further processed by Apple. The app does neither control the amount of information that is collected nor how it is further used by Apple during this process. The operators of the app assume no liability or warranty for the accuracy of the information provided. Despite careful checks, there may be errors in the calculation or display of the data. Furthermore, updates of the operating system or app updates may lead to errors that may lead to a partial or complete loss of data within the app. To prevent possible data loss, regular backups using the app's export function is recommended. There is no legal recourse to the operators of this app in these and any other cases.
